I got a decent ACT score and took APFeb 13 2008Biology
I got a decent ACT score and took AP courses in high school. I wrote an essay and was admitted to the Bio scholars program (what a joke! The biology scholars coordinator is a fundamentalist Christan (he proests Harry Potter books) who only grants opportunities to good ol' boys. I was an out of state student and was offered a $4,500 a year scholarship. The cost was still incredible nonetheless. I don't think it is difficult to get into this school if you did okay in HS.

Fill out the FAFSA, complete the application before theJul 26 2007Mechanical Engineering
fill out the FAFSA, complete the application before the honors /early deadline, get good grades, do well on SAT or ACT. OSU is becoming tougher and tougher to get into every year. People with 3.7 high school GPAs are not getting in, so do something extracurricular to set yourself apart from the average student whether its test scores, essay answers on the application, or activities and accomplishments resume
Spend some meaningful time on theOct 05 2006Business - Management and Administration
Spend some meaningful time on the essay portion, the admissions office takes a close look at that. Also, attach a letter or two if you are extremely interested in attending, the office likes demonstrated interest.

3.32, 1190 got me in here, and the standards are rising at a breakthrough pace. Apply early and attend one of the best universities in the nation.
